Based on the acclaimed novel by Australia’s foremost Kelly historian, Aidan Phelan. The narrative builds to the infamous siege of Glenrowan, the largest hostage crisis and police shootout in Australian history - a violent climax that forever cemented Ned Kelly’s place in Australian legend.

 

'Glenrowan' will be an action packed, character driven 6-episode mini-series telling the story of the infamous Kelly Gang with historical authenticity and rich complexity. The series will follow Ned Kelly as he rises from a rebellious colonial youth to Australia’s most notorious outlaw; an exploration of obsession, loyalty and vengeance; an epic tale of one man's dark choices that engulf a nation and lead to tragic consequences.
