Matthew Holmes

DIRECTOR / PRODUCER / WRITER

Matt Holmes

"Not only are they a great entertainment, movies are the most expressive, emotionally resonant modern art-forms, incorporating performance, music, photography, design and technology. Personally, the most exciting aspect of filmmaking is collaborating with people who are immensely talented in their particular field. As a director, my job is to creatively assemble their individual brilliance into a film experience that is entertaining, engaging and artistic - in that order.

My aim is to produce world-class cinematic entertainment right here in Australia. The talent in this country is endless and if given the right opportunities we can deliver marketable films of the highest quality.

Australian movies should appeal not only to us, but to the the rest of the world."
